We support students and teachers in the K-12 school system, with curriculum-relevant education programs in topics related to energy, water, waste, forests and land use, and climate change. We provide free classroom presentations, outdoor field studies, classroom resource materials, and professional development programs for teachers.

The Wye Marsh is a registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to connecting people to nature and promoting an understanding of the vital role wetlands play in the environment. Year-round educational and recreational programs for all ages and interests in both official languages are designed to kindle the appreciation and enjoyment of this unique wildlife habitat. You can become a Wye Marsh supporter though many different ways: Adopt a Swan, Adopt a Wild Bird, or Adopt a Bird of Prey. Founded in 1986 Hotinohsioni Inc. (Brantford Native Housing, BNH) currently owns and managed 120 affordable housing units in Brantford/Brant. BNH runs three Housing Programs that allows them to provide subsidized housing. Tenants pay a rent geared to income for a fully serviced unit, excluding Public Utility Costs. BNH was chosen as the host organization by the Brantford Aboriginal Homlessness Alliance to develop the Transtional Home Project. The project has recieved capital dollars but no operational funding. Transitional Housing provideds individuals with structure, support, supervision, and skill building so that they can move from homelessness into stable, permanent housing and to prevent them from returning to homelessness

The IOOF Seniors Home is a non-profit charitable organization currently operating several facilities located in Barrie, Ontario. The Organization provides a continuum of care for seniors aged 60 years and over from totally independent living to supportive housing, rent-geared-to-income housing and long-term care. The IOOF has been serving the needs of seniors in Ontario for over 100 years. The IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. is committed to serving seniors through the development of new and innovative concepts in support programs, health care services and housing initiatives. The Best Care for Seniors Campaign is to raise $6 million for the rebuilding of the long-term care facility. All donations will benefit this important effort. The new 96-bed wing is now open.

Foundation Mgr Jean-Marie Fortier was created in 1980 by a group of laic engaged and Mgr Jean-Marie Fortier itself. The diocese of Sherbrooke faced a precarious financial standing and would have been forced to reduce its services of pastoral without an auxiliary financial assistance. It is the mandate which the new Foundation gave itself.

The Marguerite Bourgeoys Family Centre (MBFC)is a health care and resource centre that helps families manage and care for their reproductive health through the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System and NaProTECHNOLOGY® The Centre provides education, counselling and care to women and their families in the areas of family planning, fertility, infertility, gynaecological care and disease prevention. The Centre teaches couples the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System to help them better understand and care for their reproductive health. With NaProTECHNOLOGY® medical and health professionals can customize treatment specific to each woman and her menstrual cycle. Beyond fertility and family planning, NaProTECHNOLOGY® can help medical and health professionals to determine and treat other women’s health issues such as, but not limited to, premenstrual syndrome, ovarian dysfunction, repeat miscarriage, endometriosis, and irregular cycles.

Throughout the year, free of charge, Moisson Montreal recovers surplus food items and essential products and distributes them to community support groups all over the island of Montreal. The Moisson Montreal food bank, founded in 1984, also contributes to implementing sustainable solutions that foster self-sufficiency among the disadvantaged. Finally, Moisson Montreal endeavours to raise awareness to issues related to hunger and poverty among citizens and the appropriate government officials. Every year, Moisson Montreal distributes some 8.9 millions kilograms of foodstuffs to 212 agencies providing assistance to 148 460 people in need on the island of Montreal, 41 258 of them children.
