EPILEPSY AND SEIZURE ASSOCIATION OF MANITOBA

Epilepsy and Seizure Association of Manitoba provides information, education, support groups (Winnipeg and Brandon), and one to one information sessions to people living with epilepsy/seizures and their families. We provide a newsletter. We believe that interacting with people at the grassroots level is just as important as the research towards a cure for epilepsy. We are available for presentations at schools, businesses, staff training, senior centres, on an as-requested bases throughout the province of Manitoba. A cure may be found tomorrow, but someone needs your help today.

THE NATURE TRUST OF BC

The Nature Trust of British Columbia is a leading land conservation organization based in BC. We acquire ecologically significant land through purchase, donation, covenant and lease. Then we care for this land in order to protect the natural diversity of wildlife and plants, and their critical habitats. Since 1971, The Nature Trust along with our partners has invested more than $70 million to secure over 69,000 hectares (170,000 acres) of land. This includes over 23,000 hectares (56,000 acres) that is owned, leased or covenanted and over 46,000 hectares (113,000 acres) that is under grazing licenses for our Biodiversity Ranches in the Okanagan.

Catholic Family Services of Simcoe County is a non-profit organization offering professional counselling services and education. Our services are available to everyone living or working in Simcoe County regardless of age, ability, cultural or religious background, race, sexual orientation or gender identity. Did you know that we are the only family service agency in the county that doesn’t have admission criteria related to a particular diagnosis? Thanks to your support we serve over 2 thousand clients each year. That’s equal to over 5.9 thousand hours of direct service to individuals, couples and families in our community who we rely on us for help. We would like to publicly thank donors who make significant contributions to our organization, by featuring their names and/or logos on our website and in our Annual Report. Donors that prefer to not be publicly recognized need to let us know.
