Oak Bay High School is a part of the Greater Victoria School District. At present, the school enrolls about 1150 students in grades 9 - 12. Oak Bay High School is dedicated to the growth and development of informed citizens whose contributions to the world are tempered with respect, understanding and tolerance. Burnaby Hospital Foundation raises funds to support the medical equipment needs of Burnaby Hospital. Burnaby Hospital is a 300 bed, community based, acute care hospital caring for over 230,000 people every year. Our Emergency department is one of the busiest in the Province of BC and treats over 45,000 adults and 12,000 children annually.

The Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton is launching a fundraising campaign to better serve the city's growing number of sexual assault survivors. We currently provide individual and group counselling services to child and adult survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault at no cost to clients. We also do community outreach and education, staff a 24 hour crisis line and provide specialized treatment services for new Canadians who have experienced war rape in their country of origin. The online campaign asks for donations in exchange for sending a “candle of hope” to a friend. We appreciate your support. Light a candle in the darkness. Dare to be aware.

GGC is the leadership organization for girls and women in Canada, with over 90,000 members from coast to coast to coast. Guiding is bold, fun, energetic and empowers girls and women to face challenges with confidence. Guides welcomes girls and women to be part of the following groups: Sparks (5 and 6), Brownies (7 and 8), Guides (9 to 11), Pathfinders (12 to 14), Rangers (15 to 17+), and Adults - as leaders, mentors, team members and more. For girls, Guiding is an accepting environment with diverse and exciting programs and activities that offer the opportunity to discover new interests, valuable leadership skills and make lasting friendships. Guiding gives girls the tools and resources they need to acheive greatness. For women, Guiding is a chance to make a difference in the lives of girls and young women. It's a place for personal growth, mentoring and travel.

Grace Christian School is a private, provincially-certified, K-12 academic educational institution in Charlottetown, PE; We are a ministry of Grace Baptist Church. The Friends of Algonquin Park was established in 1983 as a non profit registered charity. The Friends operate as a cooperating association under an agreement with the Ontario Parks to enhance the educational and interpretive programs in Algonquin Park. This is accomplished by developing and reprinting Park-related publications, and funding Park projects through the proceeds from sales at The Friends' two bookstores in the Park, private donations, and various fundraising efforts. The activities of The Friends of Algonquin are coordinated by a volunteer Board of Directors who reside in different parts of Ontario. Since its establishment, The Friends has grown to a membership of over 3000 people, and continues to attract support from around the world.

The Firehall Arts Centre is a place where audiences from diverse cultural and economic demographics are welcomed to participate and engage in the arts. Established in 1983, the Firehall Arts Centre strives to be a responsible public citizen and attempts to act in an ecological, environmental, and ethical manner. Through its artistic productions, presentations and artistic practice, the Firehall serves to open doors to the arts for new and established arts audiences thus connecting communities by encouraging a greater understanding and a celebration of the Canadian diaspora through the arts.

YWS is Etobicoke's singular emergency residence and referral agency serving homeless youth between the ages of 16 and 24. The 30 bed Emergency Residential Program meets the immediate needs of the youth by providing safe shelter, crisis counselling, nutritious food, clothing and hygiene products. Residents are given access to life skills training sessions and workshops through YWS's Steps to Success and Housing Programs. An Employment Program aims to alleviate the obstacles youth encounter in finding and maintaining employment. A Stay in School Program offers longer-term accommodation for up to 20 youth while they focus on completing their education. Youth Without Shelter' s vision is to end homelessness, one youth at a time, one step at a time.

We provide compassionate care for individuals, their families, friends and caregivers facing a life threatening illness, extending through bereavement. Our services include a Palliative Care program, Bereavement Care program, Caregiver Support and Training.

The Ottawa Humane Society is a non-profit, community-based organization and a registered charity. We have a volunteer Board of Directors, drawn from our supporters and the community at large. Since 1888, we have been the leading organization providing a safe haven for sick, injured and homeless animals in Ottawa.
