Ross Farm Museum is a window into the past of Nova Scotia’s rich agricultural history with many things to see and do that the whole family will enjoy. Established in 1969, The Ross Farm Museum is located on highway #12 in New Ross, Nova Scotia, just 15 minutes from the Lighthouse route, or 25 minutes from the Gloosecap trail. Our Museum is a living, working, farm museum depicting 150 years of agriculture in Nova Scotia. We are a single family upland farm on land originally granted to Captain William Ross. Ross Farm Museum is still being farmed with Oxen, the way it was in the late 1800s. In Rosebank Cottage, the original home of the Ross family built in 1817, you may see food being prepared over an open fire, straw hats being woven, wool or flax being spun, butter being churned, or many other skills being demonstrated that were daily chores for our forefathers, but are now almost lost.

INNOVATIVE: We always seek new and effective means of achieving our mission, adapting our approach to advocacy as issues emerge and the market evolves.

The RMG is a vibrant, engaging public art gallery located in Oshawa's Civic Centre between City Hall and the McLaughlin branch of the Oshawa Public Library. The largest gallery in Durham Region, the RMG occupies an inspired 36,000 square foot building designed by noted architect Arthur Erickson. Featuring a Permanent Collection of over 4000 works, and four galleries of diverse and changing exhibitions, the RMG holds a significant collection of Modern and Contemporary Canadian art, and the largest collection of works by Painters Eleven in Canada. Creative education programs, an eclectic gallery shop, fun monthly events, inspiring event spaces, an art archive and library, and two art studios are found at the RMG.

The Lifesaving Society is a full-service provider of programs, products and services designed to prevent drowning. We are a national volunteer organization and registered charity composed of tens of thousands of individual members, and over 4,000 affiliated swimming pools, waterfronts, schools and clubs. The Lifesaving Society is a leader and partner in the delivery of water safety education throughout Canada and around the world. We represent Canada in the Commonwealth Royal Life Saving Society and the International Life Saving Federation. The World Health Organization recognizes ILS as the world authority in the global effort to prevent drowning. The Lifesaving Society takes lead responsibility for drowning prevention in Canada.

Sacred Heart School of Halifax is a Catholic independent school, co-ed preschool to grade 6, girls' only grade 7-12, boys' only grade 7-12, Sacred Heart School of Halifax stimulates young minds and fosters a lifelong love of learning. The Students' Association of Mount Royal College is a charitable, non-profit organization that focuses on the non-academic needs of our members - the students of Mount Royal College. Whether it's helping students cope with non-academic crisis (i.e. offering food for their cupboards, emergency student loans, counseling services etc.), or helping our members become more involved in our community (i.e. volunteer opportunities, employment opportunities etc.), we strive to guide our members to exceed their own expectations by having a positive post-secondary experience and set them up for success for the rest of their lives. Our vision is to be where students discover themselves, build relationships, and make a difference in the world.

The Town of York Historical Society operates Toronto's First Post Office, which is a post office museum and National Historic Site. As a working museum, Toronto's First Post Office operates a Canada Post Corporation authorized dealership as a continuation of the site's original purpose. The museum provides education programs for children and adults, is the custodian of a significant collection of letter-writing paraphernalia and early 19th century correspondence. The collection also includes artifacts pertaining to the history of early Toronto and the Town of York. The Town of York Historical Society is a legally incorporated non-profit organization, members of the National Historic Sites Alliance for Ontario, the Ontario Museum Association, Canadian Museums Association, the Ontario Historical Society, and numerous other local historical societies and related organizations.

The Victoria Playhouse Inc., located in the beautiful village of Victoria by the Sea, Prince Edward Island, was formed in 1981, when residents voted to encourage the production of live theatre in their community hall. It was recognized that the theatre contributed to the quality of life and the social and economic vitality of the community. The Victoria Playhouse Inc. is a registered not-for-profit organization and is managed by a five-member Board of Directors, an interim Artistic Programming Committee and Managing Director Patricia Stunden Smith. The company has produced thirty-two seasons of live theatre and performance events emphasizing contemporary Canadian plays and music. On average the Playhouse presents over seventy performances a year and during the peak season (July through September) operates seven days a week.

The Wellesley Institute is a Toronto-based non-profit and non-partisan research and policy institute. We focus on developing research, policy and community mobilization to advance population health. We conduct our work through four core pillars: housing, health care, economics, and immigrant health. The Wellesley Institute is a registered non-profit charity.
