Canadian Rotarian Water Foundation supports the activities of the Water & Sanitation Rotarian Action Group (Wasrag) by providing matching funds for Rotary projects. Wasrag, recognizing the importance of best practices in water and sanitation work, has developed strategic and business plans, focusing our work on areas of most need, building Regional Teams to undertake needs assessments in conjunction with local government, NGOs, and communities, out of which come Wasrag-endorsed project listings.
Wasrag's other focus is on sourcing matching funds in addition to those provided by The Rotary Foundation. In Canada these funds will be provided through the Canadian Rotarian Water Foundation, to projects undertaken by Canadian Rotary clubs and districts.
