Since 1963 the Norwood Child & Family Resource Centre has been supporting children and families in the Norwood and surrounding communities. The programs and services offered from the Centre have always had a strong focus on supporting children and families in an effort to lessen the negative impacts of poverty: isolation, child abuse, substance abuse, low academic success, and criminal activity.
The Centre also acts as a hub for the children and families in the community. Relationships built on trust evolve here and enable us to help the families in the community access resources and services that may otherwise be unknown to them. We are a meeting place, bringing individuals from the community together and creating strong groups capable of affecting change in their community.
