West Broadway Development Corporation operates a number of programs, however our main fundraising drive is for the Good Food Club (GFC).
The GFC makes healthy, nutricious, affordable food available in West Broadway and inner-city Winnipeg.
Help us create food security, so that all people, at all times, have access to safe, nutricious food to meet dietary needs for an active and healthy live.
Our program is guided by the membership, primarily people living below the poverty line. Members can volunteer for "sweat equity points" and exchange these for healthy food. We also offer:
- Good Food Boxes - Community dinners - Cooking kitchens - Veggie van fresh local produce market - Farm trips
