Our Mission

Edmonton Opera Association was incorporated by a committed group of citizens who wanted to bring professional opera to Edmonton, a legacy we have maintained since 1963. Our chorus of talented amateurs come from all walks of life from in and around Edmonton. The chorus has also been a training ground for young singers who have gone on to pursue vocal and acting careers. Our employment of Grant MacEwan field experience placements, Alberta Community Employment clients, and University of Alberta Co-op students adds richness to our talent pool.
