The mandate of CFU is; 1. To accelerate and deepen the adoption of conservation and climate smart agriculture practices with a view to balancing food security and livelihood needs with priorities for resilience, adaption and mitigation 2. To identify and promote innovative technologies and practices that can be applies to increase climate smart agriculture adoption; to enable better management of climate risk and impact 3. To facilitate and contribute to strengthening of agricultural market systems including supply and demand side measures and value chain interventions; to enhance the benefits of climate smart agriculture
