Our Mission

In line with our constitutional mission to promote education for the common good grounded in dignity, justice, and compassion, the CIE works to ensure that all people - particularly those most excluded - have access to quality, life-affirming education. Our programmes, including our national network of community skills centres, are non-discriminatory, open to all, and focus on enabling individuals to grow, contribute to their communities, and break cycles of poverty by equipping them with the skills, tools and competencies needed to build meaningful economic futures.
