Our mission is to train indigenous teachers in Intercultural Bilingual Education in the Loreto region through initial and continuing education, using a cohesive, interdisciplinary team dedicated to building an intercultural pedagogy that applies critical pedagogical approaches and strategies and promotes dialogue between different forms of knowledge in accordance with an intercultural perspective. We want the Indigenous Peoples of the Loreto region to continue to strengthen themselves culturally, politically, and organizationally; to be protagonists of their projects for a full life and territorial self-government, with the substantive contribution of competent indigenous teachers in Intercultural Bilingual Education. In a context where Intercultural Bilingual Education is valued, growing, and institutionalized in a public education system that promotes the right to relevant and quality education for all children.
