Our Mission

Akindo is a non-profit organization recognized as a social tourism association and a nationally organized youth association. This non-profit organization is run by trained and committed volunteers, supported by a team of paid staff. Akindo organizes high-quality, accessible holiday camps in a peaceful yet stimulating environment, right on the grounds of the Akindo vzw holiday home. These holidays are specifically aimed at children and young people from socially vulnerable backgrounds in Flanders and Brussels, offering them a carefree, playful experience while enjoying a group holiday.
